Hi my name is Blake Fite, President of Global Family Resources and spokesman for Hearts of the Father Ministries.  Our mission is to build communities throughout the world that sustain and restore families so they can go and do likewise.  Although developing properties is our business, our passion is families who live in them.

As a young adult you are the next generation of innovators to carry on your family’s name sake, vision for your country, and your family’s legacy.
Here is the problem:
The CDC considers an attack rate of 15 cases per 100,000 people over two weeks as a Pandemic.  That is less than 1%!
There is something so devastating it can harm a young adult for generations.
  • There are over 400,000 children in the U.S. foster care system. 30,000 age out every year,
  • The APA[1] say’s over 40% of U.S. couples divorce. When they remarry its EVEN HIGHER.
  • UNICEF says over 11 mil children under 15 living in Southern Africa have lost a parent by AIDS. 7 years from now, it’s expected to reach 20 MIL.
Being without a parent is the new P A N D E M I C!  It’s well over 1%...So where do begin to help other families, mainly your peers, rebuild.  And if you come from a broken home how do you rebuild your own family?
Overwhelming statistics. Check.  Guilt for not doing enough.  Check again.
So, I say, forget about the world.  YOU HEARD ME…LET IT GO!  ALL OF IT!
So, let’s get laser focused and help just one of your peers.
It’s good to think global, it makes for cool t-shirts.  The problem is we only have two hands.  So, what’s the answer?  Well, there are a number of ways you can help. We are involved in many.  BUT TODAY, WE ARE MOST EXCITED ABOUT THIS!
With the help of some amazing kids, we formed a Writer’s Group[1] to write a fiction novel for young adults called: “Echoes of Newtown.”  It’s about the journey[2] of an orphan gang on the Shenandoah Valley Railroad.
These amazing kids helped write a book and they want you in their Writers Club!

[1] Must have a parent or legal guardian authorize you to be a part of this club by registering you with their full name and email address.  The legal guardian will also have to check off a legal consent statement that allows the Club Member to register their own email address as well (otherwise, they will have to work with the legal guardian by forwarding the content we send you through their email address).

[2] On any GFR sponsored conferences, workshops, church events, or other destination spots related to the Carriage Kids Writers Club all members must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  GFR cares very deeply for this next generation of kids but GFR will not be held responsible for their well-being during events. We simply do not have the staff resources to keep up with them at these sponsored events.
